Boom Blox or Blast Works?
Both look like great games and I can't pick between them, which should I get? Which game has MORE replaybility because both has a level creator and online trade mode. I'm leaning towards which one gets more better reviews and it would help to know the price of these games, HELP! Or should I just get Okami?Boom Blox or Blast Works?

is a pretty good game the boss battles are amazing and the combat is addicting. sure their are some repetitive activities but w/e we need more games like this on the wii.No more heros.....
real talk. sadly Goichi Suda is one of the few dev's who took a chance on the Wii with a mature game and unfortunately the end results werent that good (sales wise). The critics loved it as well as the people who bought it but the units it moved were a bit dissapointing. Plus the game needed some improvements. Hopefully mr. Suda will do a sequel and work much harder on it.and anyone who is gonna come in here and tell me i'm wrong about mature games on the wii not selling well (you know who you are) dont bother wasting your time because I will just ignore you. It was a fun game... I don't know why it just really didn't do a lot for me though... Not to much to do after beating it IMO. OK story, OK gameplay... I bought this game because ppl said it was such a great game when it came out... I wish I didn't believe it. I could have done without playing it, but I'm kinda glad I did. I'm So-So either way about this game.

Nintendo should make another zelda game for the wii, with the same kind of art style, but improve it to make it truly a zelda game for the Wii and not some port from the GC.I loved TP, but just not satisfied. They need to make another zelda game for the Wii before next gen.

A new installment in a series, like the new Kid Icarus officially announced, a new F-Zero, or a new Star Fox.
I want another installment of The Legend Of Zelda series, and hopefully it will be out by Fall of '08 to Spring of '09.

All game developers hate Europe. It's a smaller market than Japan or North America. At least they hate Australia even more.

I can't say Nintendo hates Europe at all, since there are many factors going into why games are released in Europe last, one being it takes longer to translate the game into so many regional languages seeing as there are so many different countries for the games to be released in, although that's not just Nintendo doing that it's all Publishers, and secondly the vast majority of games are Developed/Published in either North America or Japan so I am pretty sure they want the games released in those countries first but Nintendo has been getting a lot better with release dates, Super Mario Galaxy was released every where worldwide in the space of about a week, and despite the delay in Brawl, Mario Kart Wii was was released here first as was Mario Strikers Charged, so if anything Nintendo are trying to give Europe games first too and not just ones no one would care about seeing as Mario Kart is one of their key titles.

well they made a 3D model of kid icarus for brawl they could just use that for a new Kid Icarus game. after all, they brought Metroid to the world of 3D in Metroid Prime. the only thing left to bring to 3D is Ice Climbers (not counting the smash brothers games), although i don't know kinda game Ice Climbers can be other than ice climbing.

Kid Icarus is defenitely going to be coming to Wii, we have been anticipating it for a while now.
I hate rehashments but i would prefer a Man Icarus game.It would be stupid to have Pit be a kid again considering he turned into a man at the end of the last game.

With only minor exceptions, it's a masterpiece of level design and music.
It's a great game. The only parts I didn't much enjoy were the purple coin missions. They weren't very hard, just long and sort of tedious. Still, even they had their moments.
I couldnt help but be overwhelmed with the feeling of ''been there done that'' with the game. just another rehashed mario game as far as I'm concerned. Dull, boring, repetitive, and un-impressive. I traded it in for No more heroes like 6 weeks after I bought it.

Never before have I heard so many tunes in one game that are so good that I have to look them up on YouTube and hum them at school every day. The music was almost perfect. On top of that, the game looked absolutely fantastic with some of the best level design in any video game to date. The graphics were astounding, too.I highly recommend it to anyone that wishes to call themselves a ''gamer.''

Heh, I've been recently replaying this with Luigi. Still a ton of fun. Besides Brawl, there hasn't been a better game so far for the Wii. Looking forward to the next ''big'' Mario/Zelda creator game this Holiday season.

I Lost the White Rabbit in Game Play
There are about 17 screens of characters to choose from in Midway's ''Game Play'' for the Nintendo Wii. At one time there was a white rabbit wearing a green tie that I could use, but now he's gone. The game unlocks all kinds of things as you progress (including characters), and I was thinking that maybe the white rabbit had been replaced with another character as I got more tickets (points). So, I deleted the save file from the system and started over from the beginning. I've now unlocked all of the characters again, and the white rabbit isn't in any of the selection menus.
Does anyone happen to know how I can get the white rabbit back?I Lost the White Rabbit in Game Play

Microsoft only started making money off the 360 recently, they were losing money on each sold previously, whereas Nintendo made money off of the Wii day 1 instead of losing money.Anyway this isnt SW, but yea back to topic:

If that's what the video game companies thought we would never have any innovation. I'm not saying the Wii isn't innovative or I don't enjoy it, but it's far from a perfect console. No systems are perfect and I doubt any ever will be, but realizing how the Wii or any video game system can improve is what furthers the industry.

Microsoft only started making money off the 360 recently, they were losing money on each sold previously, whereas Nintendo made money off of the Wii day 1 instead of losing money.Anyway this isnt SW, but yea back to topic:

HD-DVDs cease to exist, blu-ray* is the primary HD format now, have you notice in ads they don't have Hd-dvd players anymore or how microsoft ''reduced'' the price of the attachment lol and made it with like 5 movies. Ok so i just got a wii mainly for the mario games and i was playing then i pushed the power button in the front and it turned off and the light went to yellow, then a few minutes later the console was still off but the are around the disc tray was light up and blinking blue...does anyone know whyBlinking Light...Help please

Okay, this has been a problem with the Wii I own for some time... I've noticed that there are different coloured specks that sort of look like jail bars near the bottom of the screen, going across it. Sometimes this is on, sometimes it doesn't. They usually appear when the view point changes. Anyways, they're really annoying.Is there some way I can fix this problem? Thanks!And there's nothing wrong with my TV. I used to play a little, but 1 on 1 isn't that much fun. It would be awesome if you could have 2 on 2 or larger since you are commanding a lot of forces. I really hope they make a Battalion Wars 3 because real multiplayer with more than two people would be a blast. And it's too bad they never put in wireless LAN play.

i had to stop, i loved the coop mode but my connection got so bad i kept getting DC'ed while just connecting to wifi. this is the only wifi game where thats happened to me. i might try again eventually, but since i was never really good at fighting someone else, i dunno if its worth it to just play coop. but i havent sold it yet, the series has a lot of potential even if it hasnt shown it yet

but I'm finding a few parts of it to be a complete PAIN. Case in point, the blossom minigame with Mr. Orange. After the millionth time, I still can't get those things to bloom, and I can't quit the mini-game, so I ended up turning the game off and losing almost 2 hours worth of data. Sometimes, when I draw a circle it works, other times it won't (and yes, I do connect the line). Sometimes, the ****ing sun appears instead of the flowers. I love the aesthetic of this game, but there are a few things that really bring it down.:evil:I really am trying to like Okami...

It took me a while to get through that one, but you pick it up as you go along and learn what works and what doesn't.It would be nice if they had a tutorial in which they tell you exactly how to do all the brush strokes, but what can you do?

The Wii-mote just isn't as accurate as it should be at times.
While I haven't completed the game, that minigame dance was the only major Wiimote problems I've had. I had a bit of trouble at the beginning learning how to pull off some moves, and everytime I learn a new brush technique, it takes a bit to master. After that, though, it's pretty much second nature.
I have a solution to the mini-game problem. I was having the same problem. Here's the trick.....draw a BIG circle (twice the size of the green flower thing), and also don't hesitate with your motions, if you hesitate the motions will work less often.

[/QUOTE]Oh I'm well aware of that ''tutorial''...if you want to call it that.But what I meant by tutorial was...you know...the actual definition of the word. As in, they not only show you a picture and give you tips, but also put it up on-screen while you're playing, and explain exactly how to do it so you won't have problems in the future.
I'm loving the game, and though once in a while it takes a few tries to do something (the blossom mini game took about 3 or 4 tries maybe), after a while some things are just 2nd nature and rarely fail. In fact, I don't think I could stand having to do some of these things with an analog stick, it'd take way too damn long.
I don't know why people are having so much trouble with the paint controls. I beat that mini-game first try, and the slashing mini-game second try. I'm loving the game.

I'm playing a game. The PS2 version was a lot less frustrating. I just beat Okami Wii yesterday and it was a test in patience and frustration. The Wii-mote just isn't as accurate as it should be at times.[/QUOTE]Its not the fault of the WiiMote, its the devs. Imagine if the brush moved as smoothly as the crosshairs in say Metroid or MoH:H2.

[/QUOTE]Oh I'm well aware of that ''tutorial''...if you want to call it that.But what I meant by tutorial was...you know...the actual definition of the word. As in, they not only show you a picture and give you tips, but also put it up on-screen while you're playing, and explain exactly how to do it so you won't have problems in the future.
I'm loving the game, and though once in a while it takes a few tries to do something (the blossom mini game took about 3 or 4 tries maybe), after a while some things are just 2nd nature and rarely fail. In fact, I don't think I could stand having to do some of these things with an analog stick, it'd take way too damn long.
I don't know why people are having so much trouble with the paint controls. I beat that mini-game first try, and the slashing mini-game second try. I'm loving the game.

I am going to get an HDTV soon and I was wondering how my Wii would look on it. I know I need the component cables and I know it only supports up to 480p, but is there a noticable difference in quality?Thanks.HDTV with Wii?

Depends on the quality of the TVLike a tube TV will look better then LCD or plasma and one that let's you choose how it up converts will look better then one that takes the image and just throws it on the screen one way.
Cables also make a huge difference and in many cases with HDTV's eliminate the lag that normal cables have on the set.

They difference is not night and day like it would be on the PS3 or the 360, but there is enough of a one!

But the best possible TV right now is a tube set. That's why it's important to do careful shopping for a HDTV, you want to make sure that you focus more on the picture then how thin it is. Remember that they make tube HDTV's, just you have to have the room for it.I'm sure it'll look fine but the cables are a must for any HD set

I bought the component cables, keeping in mind that this is pretty much the best LCD TV out there, and they dont make much of a difference. For as much as they cost, put in another 15 dollars or so and buy a new game instead. Trust me.

To get back to your actual question about the Wii in my opionion it's a blurry mess. That being said if you watch normal broadcast tv and play the Wii it looks fine but you if you watch HDTV, a Blue-Ray movie, play a view hours of PS3 and Xbox 360 and then play the Wii it's a mess that will give you a headache trying to read blurry text.

I have a ~4 year old Samsung 30'' flat screen HDTV. It's not a flat panel, but a tube. And I think the picture on it is gorgeous. I just paid $150 to have it fixed from lightning damage because I'd still rather have it than some of the newer TVs out there. My Wii is also hooked up with component cables and there is a REMARKABLE difference in picture quality. Everything is clear, crisp and extremely vibrant. Okami is jaw-dropping. :D

Best TV to play a Wii on?
I've played my Wii on a 27'' standard tv, on my 52'' 1080p HDTV, and on various friends tvs, one a 32'' 480p. None of them gave me satisfying graphics. In fact I'm thinking part of the problem is the bigger the screen, the harder the graphics are on the eyes. I'm not expecting anything like a next gen visual, just clean, sharp graphics. I'm wondering what you are all playing your wii on and whether you've found the ''sweet spot'' for size to play it on. Maybe I should go smaller like 37'' or 42''?Best TV to play a Wii on?

there's a site called itrackr.com and u can look up the wii and it lists what stores in ur area have it in stock at different retail places. most places get them sunday morning, thats how i got mine last yr. u don't have to pay for any thing either so thats cool. u can create a free account on it. yw :)Looks like it time to get wii!
I think they're becoming less rare. My local Wal-Mart has had one on the shelf the last couple times I've gone in. Which is like walking into the Twilight Zone or something.Anyway, as for why they aren't fixing it faster; that's easy. 1.) Hype is good, and 2.) If they make more factories to make more Wiis, when people don't want so many Wiis they'll have wasted money on factories and have to lay-off factory workers that they've invested money into the training of. However, if they ramp up production a little (which they have), but don't go nuts, then people will still keep buying Wiis and Nintendo will keep making money, and they don't have to waste money on new factories.

Any good zapper games
I know that Heroes 2 and Crossbow training are 2 games, but any others?also does the zapper work good, or is it really nothing special?Any good zapper games
If you like or think you'll like Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles, then yes.If not, then no.Every last source I've heard from says the Zapper feels unnatural, innacurate, and unnecessary. It's looking to be the same story for the Wii Wheel too, which doesn't reflect too well on Nintendo's peripheral department. Luckily, the Balance Board may be the add-on to balance that out (No pun intended. Seriously, it was unavoidable). Any good zapper games
Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles
From what I have heard of the Zapper the best thing about it is that it comes with a game. There was a third party gun that was supposed to be good but I forgot what it was called.As for games there is Resident Evil: UC, House of the Dead 2%263, and Ghost Squad.

I recently purchased the Nyko Perfect Shot and it is by far the best light gun for the wii and it is a lot of fun to use. It is also 100 times better than the stupid zapper, although I found link's crossbow training to be rather fun, which only comes packaged with the zapper, so that sucks. Anyways, if you really want link's crossbow training, then you may as well buy the zapper and see if you like it, but if you just want a decent light gun for the wii, then by all means buy a Nyko Perfect Shot instead.P.S.
