How do you turn off a wiimote without turning off the Wii? Say I'm playing Brawl with my friend, and he's using the wiimote, but then he wants to use the Gamecube controller. The Wiimote can't turn off so he must play in the player 3 slot while the 2 slot is still 'using' the wiimote. Do I just have to wait for a few minutes for it to turn off by itself? I also found this as a problem when a friend just jumps in to play one match and uses the wiimote, then leaves, leaving the remote on. It wastes so much battery power.Help with Wiimote
It'll turn off by itself, or you could just remove the batteries.Help with Wiimote
Yes it just turns off by itself. Or you could take out the batterys evry time?
i have the same problem and i just take out the batteries, i use the classic now because when i used the gcc i had to start the game with the 'mote and then turn it back off constanly.
Hit the ''Home'' button, wii remote options, reconnect, then just connect the only wiimote you want.
Hit the ''Home'' button, wii remote options, reconnect, then just connect the only wiimote you want.
definitely the best option without having to shut down or take out the batteries.
Thanks for the help!
