Supports split screen co-op; I have always gamed this way and I'm getting tired of games on the PS3 and 360 only supporting on-line game play. Every game I've bought for the Wii has some sort of multiplayer support on one Wii and also offers on-line play (I guess developers on the other consoles are lazy?). This console is becoming the system I play the most. I have no clue why ''hard core'' gamers ridicule this system so much as well as some major developers (Epic comes to mind).I'm glad one console this generation sti ...
To be fair, a lot of it has to do with the people that make the game, not so much the console they are made for. I agree, but also I am glad that they are expanding more into remote play. I don't have a bunch of people coming over to hang out all the time liek in high school or college.
I like multiplayer games where everyone does not have to buy a copy of the game and have the same console in order to play together. Basically, I find how the Halo series provides multiplayer as the best tactic, split-screen and network together.
