Kinda sick of the wii points system

If I want to get only 700 points, or only 500 points, im screwed. It's really annoying that you have to buy points in 1000's.I mean, I want to get FFC for Wiiware, but to do that, I would need to buy 2000 instead of only 1,300, which is all I need. With Wii ware's titles having varying prices, don't you think Nintendo should change this a bit?Kinda sick of the wii points system
You will have some points to spare so what.Kinda sick of the wii points system
i really don't like the system either, but it's just smart business sense from Nintendo....because you're pretty much always going to be ''odd points'' out, so it keeps you coming back to buy more....i'd like to see different scales put up there as well...hell i'd like to see 100 point increments available, but doubtful that would happen
so negative dont think of it as damn i cant buy the exact number of points i want think YAY i'll have stuff left over
FF is actually 1500 points and its good that you have 500 points left over because you can download some extra FF content
i think the best solution would be to turn the Wii Points card into something of a gift card. you state how much you would like to put in, and when you pay, the cashier enters the amounts and bam! but then again, it would cause problems when it comes to redeeming and fraud prevention...
yeah, nintendo has a pretty nice payment scheme set up for themselves with the points. it's really useful for screwin us over.
Could be a lot worse. On LIVE, 80pts equals a dollar, which can definitely lead to confusion. 400pts = $5 and so on. So 100 Wii pts = $1.00 keeps things in perspective at least.
They should at least add 500 pts for a minimum. If they had, they'd be up one more sale.
I don't have any problems with the Wii Point system.

I think the system in place is fine. Just plan ahead on what you want to buy and then just purchace as close as you can to get those games. At least that's what I do.

Hmm i just consider the last game i can buy to cost all the points i had left. We can't really expect them to place 100 point cards in the stores or so. You can pay with creditcard too. I have this problem with everything online. World of warcraft too. I payed for two months a time, but sometimes i just wanted to play or a week.

Since the WiiWare titles are of various amounts, wouldnt having various amounts left over be less of a big deal now? I have 200 pts right now. I could by 2000 to get me 2200 pts. I can then buy Lostwinds, Black Jack (or Pop), and an NES title and have nothing left over. I could buy Black jack and Pop and an SNES title for the same. It will all work out in the end.
I buy online so I think you should be able to buy exactly how much you need. Nintendo's just hanging on to your money otherwise, and that makes you more likely to purchase another title.
I will always have unused points, probably. But I don't really know how can it be fixed. We should just learn how to live with it.
I know Wii points is a total scam. 360 does this too on Live
the extra points leads me to get games i wouldnt normally have gotten (Fzero X, LoZ: LttP) so i like it...but i only have 200 left and i want lostwinds :(
I really don't mind left-over points, but it would be nice to be able to buy 500 and 1500 points.
You can still like Nintendo and disagree with one of their business practices. Most likely the Wii points system will never change, but you're ignorant if you see no problem with it.
