As soon as I finished Lostwinds I knew we would get more. It's pretty much jsut the first chapter of soon to be epic series, I think. Definitely a great game and definitely worth a sequel (I'm sure this will be a 4 to 5 parter series).I'm looking forward to seeing part two!
I still have yet to complete LostWinds because I'm taking it slowly but this is AWESOME news.
And I hope the above posters prediction comes true.
Will the game is pretty epic for a Wiiware game, I think he should defiantly get a sequel.
Awesome! I haven't had as much fun with my Wii as I've had with LostWinds since Galaxy came out. Great, great news.
I have a feeling this is what they have planned from the beginning. Maybe they'll do a compilation on a disk or something.
I didn't even download the game yet and they announce the sequel. Day one or Week one purchase for me for the sequel. I'll get the game this weekend. I have too much work this week to play on Wii.
I played the first 2 and a half hours, then I found out that it's about 3 hours long, I died inside.....
Yeah, I saw this. I'll see how Lostwinds scores, then maybe pick it up. Any news on when this will come out? Soon, I hope.

It's great! It's short, sure, but it's well worth the $10. If you're a fan of ''Metroidvania'' type games, then you'll love this one.
Does the game have any replay value?? I dont want to buy a game that is only 3 hours long and never play it again as i have done with several VC games. Plus i think 1000 points is a bit much for it
This game is absolutely amazing. It's got wonderful use of the Wii Remote. The puzzles are challenging, but not too terribly difficult. The music is beautiful. The artwork is some of the best you've seen on Wii to date. It's on par with the Galaxy's and Brawls of the world. The game is short, only about 3 hours, but so was Portal and every proclaimed it the next thing in gaming. Well I think LostWinds is one of those types of titles as well. It's going to have more ''episodes'' so you can definitely look forward to that. If you have not bought this game yet, stop reading these message boards, get onto the shop channel and buy it...NOW!!

Other than that, I don't think there's any reason to play through it again, other than just to play through it again (which I'll probably do a few times, because it's jsut that enjoyable). If $10 is a big deal to you (and I don't mean that in a negative way, we each value our money differently), then you may want to save it to put towards another release with more play time and replay value. For me $10 is a drop in the bucket, so I feel it was money well spent.
thanx for the feedback. $10 is not really that much for me but i think i will just save up my points for a different game. The thing that bothers me is that after I beat a game and it has no replay value, I just feel like i wasted my money
Imagine if this game is a trilogy and if all parts come out by end of year. $30 for 9+ hours of amazing gameplay. That's a better deal than most retail games on any platform...especially for a sidescroller.
