i think it would be sweet if they would make a mario and sonic platformer where mario and friends work with sonic and friends to stop dr.eggman and bowser from kidnapping peach and trying to take over the world.mario and sonic platformer

Considering all the upcoming games, and the most recent games to come out in the past all suck, I think its safe to say the Sonic Franchise is dead, and has been dead for quite a while.

id like a mario %26 sonic platformer where they are rivals, not friends. but of course not foes, they would both fight for the same reason, like beating eggman/robotinik and bowser after they formed an alliance, like you said. but no peach kidnapping.and only mario and sonic. the game would be awesome then
R u guys nuts! Sonic is a classic and still cool character. He is fun and fast. Those of you that hate sonic are losers.

I'm a Sonic fan as well but I'd rather just play the games and not try to defend the character on a message board.
I truly do not want to see Sonic working with a bunch of bubble gum nintendo characters in a platform game. Sonic games have evolved to the point where they come with storylines. Mario is the same old same old boring garbage where he has to save Peach from Bowser. Its repetitive and redundant. You're more than likely to expect something new with a Sonic game but with mario........not so much.

Sonic and the Secret Rings was a great game, Sonic Rush and Rush Adventure are also great and show Sonic's far from dead. Sonic RPG looks quite promising and the same goes for Sonic Unleashed. I fail to see the point you're trying to make. The only bad game (not counting spin-offs) is Sonic 06, and to a lesser extent, Sonic Heroes. Sonic 06 was just plain bad while Sonic Heroes had it's moments. Sonic Adventure 1 and 2 are both great games as well. Sonic and the Secret Rings was definately a step in the right direction. It had some level design flaws and some minor problems with the controls but it's still a great game with a wicked sense of speed.So, once again, elaborate?
