May I ask WHAT is the point of SD cards?

I mean, why do I have 3700 free blocks that I cannot use? I tried copying a VC game to my SD card and then deleting it from my Wii, but I still couldnt it play it! (yes on the same Wii). So I ask, how am I to benefit from the SD card other than finding out that my friends have taken a million silly pics in ssbb?any help would be appreciatedMay I ask WHAT is the point of SD cards?

It's just for save files, VC games, MP3s, etc. There might be other uses but I don't know any aside from the ones I stated

You can use it for game saves, Virtual Console games (but cannot play the game off the card or on anyone's else's system), music, movies, and pics.
Really it is mainly for extra room to save stuff. Because you will eventually run out of space on the hardrive
There really is no point of them yet until Nintendo lets us play VC games off of them.
