Mixed Messages about Wiiware

Hi, I have been doing a little searching around to see what wiiware is and on many sites i've been given different answers. I know now that wiiware is like an online store where you can buy games with wii points that developers have made but I have also seen a few articles that have said that wiiware is also something you buy off of the wii store thing and that with it you can make games for the wii I assumed on the wii. This got me excited because i'm an aspiring programmer. I saw on a couple of sites that wiiware games would be released the 12th and that wiiware itself (being a programming platform) would be released around the 26th. A few of the articles I read stated that wiiware would be available for everyone who owns the wii and purchases out of the online store. I have a better understanding now what wiiware is but is it true there will be a ''Game Maker'' type thing for the wii? I've reread the articles many times to verify what I thought it was and would really like to know if I got my hopes up for nothing. Thanks :)Mixed Messages about Wiiware
I was wondering that too i looked at every gaming website there is and nothing, i cant find out any more then u know. Its so frustrating than nintendo keeps secrets from the public especally on something so minor!
