MK Wii Unlockable characters (possible s ...

So one of the reasons I bought mario kart wii was to have a good time with my friends, and I am concerned about being able to unloock all of the characters, I don't think I have the time, patience, or skill to unlock all of the characters, is there any way that I would be able to get all the characters unlocked without having to obtain all the gold star rating on every cup, I finished with golds on every cup but my rankings range from C's to A's, any help is appreciated, and I understand that if I can't find a way around the star rankings I'll just have to try and try again even though it is possibly futile.MK Wii Unlockable characters (possible s ...

i understand where you are coming from, i would like them all too i just find the one player rather repetitive so i stick to online.
Yeah it is pretty repetitive, and its kinda a lot to ask for to go through each cup, and having to perform amazing in each race to unlock most of the characters and what not, i thought at first all i would have to do is get 1st place in all of the cups, but i'm 7 characters out from having them all still, still a fun game though and im glad i own it
Do you have to play a specific character? All lightweights have access to the same set of lightweight vehicles, and same goes for medium and heavy.
Only a couple characters rely on gold star ratings. Most of them are unlocked for completing cups with any rank or racing time trails etc...
