It would be possible, but first Nintendo would have to make a Wii update that has to act like an N64 Expansion Pak first.

Me too, especially since Mother 1 was already translated but never published(see Earthbound NES).
Then, they need to release some other previously-unreleased games...
Its considered a classic by most, so it SHOULD come over.

It was just to late in the minds of NOA because the SNES had been out for some time and Mother was a NES game (never occured to them to make it into a SNES game).

I started it earlier today and so far, it's pretty good. It feels a tiny bit dated, but I guess that's because it is. Bottom line, it's a good game and people would download it.
