Games that use online cannot be transferred. I don't know why but they can't.

You can transfer Battalion Wars 2 but not Endless Ocean.
I'm not familiar with BWii or Madden; do they use friend codes? That's my theory as to why MKWii, Endless Ocean, and SSBB can't be copied; they have a friend code attached to them, so copying would permit multiple individuals with the same code to log in, which generally isn't good.Of course, Splinter Cell: Double Agent can't be moved to an SD card either, and my explanation doesn't work for that one.
No idea.
I'm guessing its because you get updates frequently for those games (stages, ghosts, invitations).
Ugh can this be figured out? Or do we lose?
We lose, unfortunately.I was having this very same problem, asked, and the answer: Some games can't be moved. Simple like that, I never got a solid reason for the 'why', but it was a huge loss when I had to format my Wii with my Guitar Hero gamesave. ''This file cannot be copied''. I honestly think that is a huge negative hit in Nintendo's reputation.
aww man, thats really bad. even more so because SSBB takes up so much space.
Damm i didnt realise thats why, i found out i couldnt copy my Brawl data the other day as i was going to my mates house and i wanted the data. Oh well since the Wii is so small i just brought the console itself :P

[/QUOTE]Yeah that is why. The friend code attachment thing. EA games like Madden and No More Heroes use EA Nation. So you can copy them. But any games that use friend codes (even some games with just leaderboards) won't allow copy. Which always annoys me as I know lots of wii owning people and can't bring important save files over like Smash bros, Mario Kart, and Guitar Hero. I have to unlock a bunch of stuff over there just to play it.
