wii gamecube controller

is there any chance i can play wii games with a gamecube controller or the white normal controller that comes with itwii gamecube controller
Only certain games allow you to use the Gamecube controller such as Super Smash Bros. Brawl and Mario Kart. Wii remote is the dominant control method for obvious reasons.

Check the back of the box of a wii game, it says if you can use the wiimote, nunchuck, classic controller or gamecube control

Just because I bought a Wii doesn't mean that I like the Wiimote and that, for most games, I won't use any other type of controller I can before using that.

it usually states on the back of the game case what controller schemes it is compatible with.
