Wiiware Misconceptions? Different storie ...

Before wiiware was released I was reading around looking at articles that related to wiiware and was extremely excited when at a site i saw ''Nintendo readies wii game making tool for all'' and basically this article said that software called wiiware is designed to allow all level of game designers the ability to create wiigames. This got me excited because I am an aspiring programmer. I read on and it stated that wiiware games will be released may 12th, which they did, but the release of the game making software would be later. Is there any truth to this? I think it would be great to let people throw in their ideas for making the wii games more motion based instead of games that have the potential to utilize the wiis features but do not or do a terrible job of it. If you know of any dates or sites following this it would be greatly appreciated, thanks. This is a repost of one of my older posts because I didn't get any answers only someone else that has the same question :DWiiware Misconceptions? In order to program a game for Wiiware, you have to have a development studio and either a publisher or sign up through Nintendo. It's intended to help small scale development studios break into the gaming world, not individuals or those like you who don't actually have a job with a studio. If you're looking into programming games, just go with Adobe Flash. It's easy to use and still less expensive than a Wiiware kit.Wiiware Misconceptions? Different storie ...

Well heres the article read it and see what I saw then you'll understand why I thought what I did. It seems legit although its from a while ago... http://www.reghardware.co.uk/2007/06/28/nintendo_readies_wii_programming_tool/Thanks for the info, really saddens me though :(
