Will this RUIN WII FIT from the start?!! ...

What is the whole point? It may be to adjust balance. It may be to gather family and friends with yoga activities and skiing mini games. But, for the most part, it is suppose to help lose weightThe question is, is the game doomed from the start. Wii fit's major flaw is this..... it may be innacurate. If you put Arnold Schwartzaneggar(however it is spelled) on the board, he will be labeld as obese. Obviously, however, he could not be more fit! The wii fit judges body mass, not body fat! You may be 250 pounds, but it may be because of muscle and bone mass, not fat. Therefore, it is impossible for the wii fit board to be accurate. Also, what if you are 250 and , although you lost 5 pounds, you gained 3 pounds weight in muscle mass. The game will say you just lost 2 pounds, but that is not the complete truth. However, this fact may not ruin the game. It may probably be easy to ignore. What do you think.... is this a major flaw, or easy to ignore. Will this RUIN WII FIT from the start?!! ...
It uses standards of measurement used by all doctorsSure there's going to be exceptions but they will be in the minority. Also unless the person is seriously stupid or mentally damaged they understand what it means and wont freak. Will this RUIN WII FIT from the start?!! ...
people with many muscles dont buy wii fit ?
people with many muscles dont buy wii fit ?
Ummmm, I am? I go to the gym and I'm still getting Wii Fit, I know that because of my muscle mass a general measurement tool wont be spot on but I'm ok with that since for many it will be correct.
i think that if people don't take it too seriously, it won't be too big of an issue. but there's always going to be someone who does take that stuff a bit too seriously; people are often quite sensitive about their weight. for example, i read a news story about a 10 year old girl who played Wii Fit and was labeled as ''Overweight'' even though she only weighed like 75 pounds and she freaked.
The only reason for me to get Wii Fit is if more games (ie. Tony Hawk, 1080) use the board.
BMI is completely different than measuring a person's body fat. Intelligent people understand and know this.According to BMI Michael Jordan is overweight, which he is for his size and age. HOWEVER Michael Jordan is not over FAT. Big Difference. Once you realize the difference come back to the conversation. Overwight does not automatically mean you are fat and out of shape.

That's not an inaccuracy with Wii Fit, that's just how BMI works. The only mistake Wii Fit makes is not explaining that clearly in game.
i'm fairly certain that i will be labeled obese by wii fit hahai'm a 6' 5'' fullback weighing 250 lbs or so... if the game goes just by BMI i'm definitely going to be over hahai'm not overfat! don't label me nintendo ;-Pi can't wait to see the public outcry when this gets released and nintendo tells most of America that we're fat haha
Maybe for some people.
I suppose the point you bring up may be valid...But for me, Wii Fit was ruined when they announced it would be 90 bucks, and even more so when Wii Ski (the only game that looks fun that also uses the Balance Board peripheral) was given a lukewarm review from NP. Honestly, I'm not going to shell out nearly a hundred bucks to pay for a video game that will achieve the same effect as me going out and exercising every day.
